Polyethylene prices

Polyethylene price notations increased with 10-15% during the first month of 2021, following the previous price increase of 10-15% during December 2020. Overall, listed prices are today 40-60% higher compared to listed prices going into 2020. The largest increase is shown in high density polyethylene for blow molding.

Note that this data reflects the development of quoted/offered prices and is not a reflection of the prices of real transactions. In general, changes in quoted prices are reflected in the prices of real transactions later in time, and often with a lower amplitude.
